Regina – I saw something on the news this morning about this and the process to have it removed has me thinking that I will have to pass.Had someting to do with soaking and aluminum foil and a lot of filing eek!! Please let us know if the removal process is different than that.
HI heather, The Shellac removal process is very simple. Don’t worry, there is no filing. But you do soak off the product. You can use a CND cotton pad soaked with acetone or a cotton ball soak with acetone and wrapped with aluminum foil. The process takes about 10 minutes before the product just flakes right off. Then you can reapply the new product for another 2 – 3 weeks of flawless wear.

P.S. There is a brand of gel polish that the shiney layer of top coat has to be buffed before the color can be soaked of and that brand is called Axxium. And buffing should just be to the top coat and never all the way through to the nails. Again please feel free to contact us with any questions.
